Delivered under 10-14 days Mike Oldfield's only appearance to date at the Montreux Festival was during the 1981 European tour in support of his album "QE2". The set featured songs from that album, its predecessor "Platinum" and versions of his classic seventies albums "Ommadawn" and of course "Tubular Bells". Performed by tight knit group featuring two percussionists, a bass player, a keyboardist and Maggie Reilly on vocals, the concert captures the real spirit of Oldfield's music.
