Rehearsals in Lausanne, concerts in Tokyo, or recording in France, the camera slide in and out among the singers, as one with the choir, facing Michel, his smiles, his angry moods or his passion. This film is an intimate journey into the recording of the Mass in Si Minor of Jean-Sebastian Bach, an outstanding work considered by many as the most important piece of the classical repertoire. We are going to discover what, since 50 years, drive this extraordinary director.
