Eva Gruber and her husband Max lead a rather peaceful married life. Max has just completed a sculpture for a retirement home, and his wife throws a party to mark the occasion. She wants to prove that a grave error of justice has occurred here, possibly even an abuse of law. But then she is forced to recognise that her husband was not always entirely honest with her.
