In décember 2002, the Odéon°5 gallery in Paris invited the Swiss Italian artist Felice Varini for an exhibition of his work. The idea then came about to create a work of art at the Place de l'Odéon as a complement to the paintings shown inside the gallery.
In décember 2002, the Odéon°5 gallery in Paris invited the Swiss Italian artist Felice Varini for an exhibition of his work. The idea then came about to create a work of art at the Place de l'Odéon as a complement to the paintings shown inside the gallery.
After a year of work and planning, the installing is finally put into place in six days and 5 nights. The Place de l'Odéon is occupied by art, day and night, and the contours as they were imagined on paper, are at last confronted with the reality of the space and people who live there.
By following up close the birth of this work of art, the film shows Varini's progressive conquest of the space, the inevitable surprises and difficulties encountered along the way, and the progress of creation as it is.
